Hey guys, anybody know of any good beer stores to pick up some stuff I can't get in Ohio are? Will be going to the Newport aquarium this weekend and wanted to make a quick detour to stock up. Thanks and cheers!
The Party Source in N. Ky is the place to visit. A less quick detour would be run down to Lexington, Country Boy Brewing is selling a brand new bomber, Constant Sorrow (BBA IIPA) from 12-2 PM as part of their local arts and crafts bazaar.
If you have time to go across the river to Cincinnati, Jungle Jim's has a great beer selection as well as everything else. You'll also find beers there that you won't in KY because of differences in state distribution (Ballast Point, Alesmith, Revolution, etc.). Also, Hofbrauhaus in Newport is a great place to grab a bite and drink beer. They brew authentic german style beers on premise using the same recipes and ingredients from the original hofbrauhaus in Munich. Quite tasty.
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm from Ohio so I doubt I will stop at jungle Jims but that last for the recommendation.
