^^ agree on that point but these stores should be monitoring the dates on their inventory and also the dates on the stuff they are buying to resell. I asked the guy at Bronson if he had some beers and walked around with me showing me where some were located in his coolers. He made a point of saying they put all their beer in coolers to keep it fresh BUT they have the issue with canning dates - LOL

Add Gatlin Hall to the must visits here in O town. Hugely impressed on first visit here. So looking forward to coming back.

the beer was great! The amount of children and the lack of knowledge with the bartenders was the only problem…

It is a food hall and brewery with not much else around. Dont like kids drink at home. Unless you have kids then your screwed.

I dont think you are going to get the standard brewery taproom experience. The bartenders are making cocktails as well as slinging beer. I do know a few of the bartenders and they have worked in other brewery taproom and know beer. You may have been served by one of the newbies.

Not a big loss. the beer was horrid and the owner was a dick.

I don't know what experience you had to have such an opinion but I'm open to hearing about it...

Gene was always super nice any of my visits there. I will say he was under tremendous pressure since he was all in on that brewery on his own with his own money. Pandemic really hit him and the brewery hard.

I have noticed, as of late, that the ABC locations have majorly dialed back on their beer inventory.

Regency Wine & Liquor has a great selection, friendly service and a growler bar. It's about 30 minutes from WDW.

yeah those growler stations really died down....I'm sure in part to covid lockdown last year but even still they stopped having anything interesting on tap for ages

I have a buddy who is a Mgr at my local ABC he says as a whole the company has backed down on how much craft beer they carry. the majority of distributers do not take back old craft beer Like Bud and Miller ones do. WIth the pandemic they needed to tighten purse strings and some stores were remodeled.
He says they do plan on having the crowler bars up and running within 18 months. so take it for what you will.

Is this list current as of now, and anyone have any distillery recommendations?

For the most part it is up to date.
Bear and Peacock is temporarily closed as they are looking for a new location.
Loggerhead Distillery in Downtown Sanford is open, but check their website or FB for times that they are open.

See that Big C's is recommended as a bottle shop but I don't see much on their site as to what they have. Anyone have a rundown on some of the breweries that they carry? Considering a stop on my way from ORL to Daytona Beach.

If you are going to be traveling I-4 you can take a quick stop off at Princeton to go to GB's Bottle shop on Virginia. Great selection of beer, lots of FL beer. Cold and room temp. Also have taps.
Other than the big ones ABC and Total Wine. not much else. Upsala Grocery in Sanford has cans galore (just watch dates). For brewery if you are coming in to MCO (Orlando airport) Stop at Ellipsis Brewing 5 minutes away. They have packaged and they do crowlers.

Awesome. Thanks. Definitely making a stop at Ellipsis, I've always enjoyed their stuff.
