    Disney Tips
For those traveling to Disney, many places throughout the parks and resorts now serve craft beer.

Yes variety in the parks is limited. Yes it's expensive to buy beer in the parks or at your hotel.

Yes you can bring your own beer to Disney resort pools.

Thank you Bknarr for doing the leg work for all this time.

    UNIVERSAL
Since I know I’ve searched Universal many times, I figured I’d post a specific thread after a short visit this weekend. I will basically post about what I found unique. Yuengling and Blue Moon are all over both parks. I did not search every inch of the place to be sure. You may now be able to find some local FL beers at the parks.

Universal Studios - In Springfield, the Duff brewery offers three beers (I believe all by Florida Beer Co). I only had the regular Duff. It was fine. In Harry Potter World, you will find two unique beers. There is Wizard’s Brew (a very solid sweet leaning stout) and Dragon’s Scale (a mildly hoppy red). There’s a beer cart in NY area across from Starbucks and Louie’s. They have 4 locals including Jai Alai and Orange Blossom Pilsner.

Islands of Adventure - Hogs Head in Harry Potter had the two previously mentioned beers plus a 3rd which was malty offering in the Scottish Ale style (Hog’s Head Brew). To be honest, I didn’t see much else in Islands.

City Walk - Again, here you will find Yuengling and Blue Moon at walk up carts like it is growing in trees. I found the selection at NBC Grill to be vast and certainly worth a look. Clearly the largest selection was here with probably upwards of a hundred cans, bottles and drafts. In general, there was nothing hear that knocked my socks off though. The Cow Fish had a nice, but small selection of craft including about six drafts. Each of these two places had Two Hearted which was probably the best beer at each.

Stayed at Portofino Bay and I’d say each venue there (pool, bars, restaurants) had one pretty good craft selection (including Jai Alai and Funky Buddha Hop Gun).

A great beer fest was just announced for Dec 8th at Ten10
    CenterMost point beer invitational

    CENTERMOST POINT INVITATIONAL BEER FESTIVAL·
The Centermost Point Invitational is Orlando Florida’s latest beer festival presented by What Ales Ya Podcast and Ten10 Brewing Co. Brian Quain and Horus Andersen are inviting close to 20 breweries from outside of Orlando (surrounding cities and out of state) with over 60 rare and new beers to be sampled. Quain and Horus are planning this festival for attendees to meet and greet brewers, owners, taproom managers, event coordinators, the ones who make the breweries thrive, and not going through distributors. The heart of the What Ales Ya Podcast is to educate and inform the listeners by interviewing the breweries and the passion of the craft in this beer industry.

I'm really hoping more than a few of these will be really good to great for craft beer.

Seems central FL has a lot of just OK places.

Thanks for the postings! I'm driving to the Keys from CT with a overnight stop in Orlando - your guide will come in handy. Stopping in Sanford now too - looks like a nice town.

Sanford is a great little downtown for a night out. Best beer options are Deviant Wolfe Brewing, Celery City craft beer bar (great selection of FL beers) Hollerbachs Willow Tree Cafe is the best German food in Orlando. All 3 of those are within a few blocks of each other.

Sanford is my Hood, if you would like to meet for a beer just BM me. I can bring a bottle or two to open.

An you guys recommend some great restaurants in or near downtown? Looking for great food, doesn’t have to be fancy. Something like cask and larder-ish. Looking for two places, that are open for lunch.

For less formal... King Boa on Mills is awesome... little taco like Boa buns.
    Taco Cheena,
    Black Rooster Taqueria.

Market on Magnolia. Great food hall, pizza, wings, Poke, Sandwiches. Great beer selection.

For beer and food--- Tap and Grind... great taps and Poke
Ten10 Brewing on Virginia (beer and pub fare)

I am sure I missed a bunch of great places. These are my favorites when I venture from Sanford.

Wow, I guess Jason wants to move back to Hawaii permanently.
I know this was just side gig for him. I am surprised he did not try to sell the business. From what I hear his rent is cheap. He just spent all that money on the poke side too.
Now the beers are expensive, but hey he is downtown.

Coming into Orlando for a little warm weather vacation with the family over Thanksgiving, will be there on Wednesday. Any recommendations on which stores to go to for the release? Will any ABC or Total Wine have the variants? Thanks for all the help!

Pizza Bruno and Bad As's Sandwiches are my 2 go-to's. If you want Mexican, Hunger Street Tacos is your place. Domu is great if you can get in. They have some killer cocktails if you have a bit of a wait though.
