    Ah, didn't know that. I had never tried Last Snow before that, so I don't know what to compare it to, but I thought it was really good. I don't understand why MBCP isn't also in 12-oz 4-packs though.

    It is thier once a year festival beer. It does hit distro all over FL.

    cant blame them. that area is basically a bunch of tract housing & chain restaurants. but great pools for the kids i guess?

    There are a couple of Liquor stores next door to the two Publix stores (either side of the I4) both can have Cigar City or Funky Buddha seasonal beers as well as good National beers. Fairly random tho, but worth looking in. I picked up Victory at Sea High West just before Easter from the one near the Ovation Publix. Apart from that it is a trip to one of the stores mentioned above. The Total Wine at Millenia is easy to combine with a fam shopping trip!

    RIP Red Cypress. At least sideward has the exact same tasting beer for people who need a Red Cypress fix.

    This is a real shame, RC was one of the best options in the Orlando beer scene for my money.

    the rumors flying around are that one of the investors pulled out and there is a significant tax bill due.

    This may sound harsh,, but I want to know what they are going to do with the Kitchen sink and Slice that are in barrels? also I know the assistant brewer (have not spoken to him yet) but as of Friday he was posting pictures of mashing in and brewing. So they have beer in the works, that cant be finished and sold in 10 days.

    Was at Red Cypress Friday, got some inside info. (i guess inside).
    The largest investor is allegedly in some trouble with the IRS and in his investment contract he can leave the business and pull money out. I guess he did and it was a significant amount.

    The juicy part, one day last week the guys from Slim Pickens Cider were at RC negotiating a deal to buy the brewery. Not sure where that will go but its a good thing I think.

    Also a few months ago Big Storm inquired about buying RC ans was told not for sale. Maybe they will be a player in purchasing as well. So one way or another we may have a new brewery or place to drink in winter springs.

    Slim is friends with seemingly all the Tampa/St Pete breweries....so here's to hope those connection transfer to spectacular guest taps

    Todd Strauss from Slim was originally at CCB and got CC cider off the ground. The stuff he makes is damn good. I heard he would make beer eventually at any location he puts roots down at. I believe he contract brews now.
