    So the head brewer at 10Ten announced that he is leaving for another place. He did not announce anything but I have heard this RUMOR from multiple people int he industry. He is going to be at Blue Springs Brewing that is being built right now in Orange city. Just north of Orlando. Owned by the team at Busters Bistro in Sanford.

    Is that place anywhere near opening? It’s supposed to be a like a crooked can type deal with a food court and stuff attached, right?

    It is going to be a restaurant with a brewery. Not a food hall like Crooked is. From what I have been told. There brew system is a long away from being completed. let alone delivered.

    I'm honestly surprised at the location. Is that area really busier than dt Sanford?

    It’s close enough to deland and closer/same distance from deltona and debary where a lot of people live now that Sanford and Lake Mary are so expensive to buy a house.

    It’s not a great location, but it has a big population around it and not much competition. Personally it’s not the area I would try and expand in, but I hope it works out for them.

    Orange City is a pretty crappy location. Nothing like downtown Sanford. As said though no competition.

    Unfortunately Dt Sanford beer is shit other than Deviant. Wops is a 50-50 on good beer, SBC is horrid, Inner compass is trying but just not there yet. I cant wait until Dees Brothers opens. Never had a beer from them at a fest that was not good.

    But I think Orange City is a decent choice, lower cost to obtain the building and a population that has to travel to Tomoka, or Central 28 as the closest options. If they make good beer they will kill it out there.

    Apparently Civil Society will start distribution in Orlando soon. Redlight Redlight is having a launch event this month for them. Hopefully we will get some cans up here as well.

    It is not officially official. Blue Springs has not announced anything but Horace is going to be the brewer there. He has full control and is helping them build and get the place open.
    No clue on when they will open as they have no brewing equipment.

    Looks like the rent as finally gotten to Orange County Brewers. They are closing the downtown location and moving to the Lake Mary site. I guess they will have to change the name to Seminole County Brewers. LOL

    God i hope the beer is better. This is 5 minutes from my house.
