Most of the Superstition stuff you find will be shelf variety, Chandler Whole Foods has a great selection as does GCM in Gilbert. I was at the meadery on Saturday in Prescott and they didn't have any bottles you couldn't get at WF Chandler right now. No special releases available for the time being. They do have meads at the meadery that you can't get in bottles so that is cool, I think they had 9 different meads when we were there, 6 were "shelf" and 3 were more special releases. It's only a 2 hour or less drive up there depending on what part of the city you leave from.

Wasn't there some recent hullabaloo about them possibly losing their location due to a landlord dispute or something? Did you get any news/update related to that?

Supposedly that is all worked out so they are safe to remain in their current location.

They worked that all out. Has anyone been to Arizona Mead Company in Chandler yet? I heard they are only open on Saturdays and I haven't been able to check them out yet.

I also see a few choices at Papago whenever I go there if you want a bit of a more central location to find some Superstition meads.

Great trip - I picked up Tahitian Honeymoon, Maple Stinger, and Honey Highway from WF Chandler - they all survived in the suitcase home too :-) I also visited AZ Wilderness (liked the food better than the particular beer selection last week - the "fermenting now" list looked mo' better to me), and it seemed like every restaurant we went to had Four Peaks on tap - Hop Knot was my favorite from them, and the seasonal peach was my least favorite :-) I think I also tried Kilt Lifter and Short Hop. Thanks for the tips, all!

If I go to only one Brewey while visiting Scottsdale, which should it be? Have a car, willing to drive (golfing all over)

Go to Fate then hop on over to Scottsdale Beer Company, they are a few miles away. Good quality beers coming from them.
