Visiting Phoenix

Thanks for your input bigbelcher. Im kind of confined to the Glendale area at the moment (no car only a fixed gear bike). Only been to Gordon Biersch (a chain brewery but decent imo) and Freakn brewing in peoria (also ok but waiting to try their darker offerings). Still need to try Wren House, 8 bit, Papago, and AZ Wilderness. All of those are a stretch on a bike though. But still haven't had anything remarkable in the same ballpark as Floyds back home.. Even Dragoon IPA and thats highly rated.. Missing my ZD, Rob the bruce, space station, and Lord Rear Admiral. Anyone make an extraordinary ESB out here? Been craving one..

 

Go to Ground Control over in Goodyear. Ian runs a pretty good set up on the West Side. Decent taps and also has bottles. Wren House rocks. My son works for them as their beer seller but he will be leaving soon to go back to college. Definitely worth the visit. Very under the radar but picking up steam.
