Homage was great. ...Haven't tried the Progress yet--they seem like they're really doing their own thing (no hazies, no lines, indie vibe). FYI they do 50% off for fire/police/military personnel (!).

+1 on Homage...I've been there at least once a week since about the time they opened and it's been amazing watching their beers develop. They are growing steadily and the board is almost always full now with production starting to keep up with demand. They've only done a few batches of NE style IPAs and they are improving each time with better mouthfeel, but I always make sure to get something brett fermented when I'm there.

Hitting up Glass House for a show tonight, going to try and hit Homage before.

Its rad that there are a few more options around 2nd street now. I remember back in the day when Tiki Room and Yesteryears were there, but there hasn't been anywhere else walking distance to a show at the Glass House (other than Joeys / The Rookery) for a long time. Hopefully some other stuff pops up around there. Never was really into going to Characters or that pizza place on the other side of Garey haha

At Homage right now ... Beers are solid. The saisons I had were great and the IPAs are killer. Solid spot for beers before a show at The Glass House. Space is small but cool.

Another upvote for Homage. IPAs were good to great, mixed fermentation saison was delicious and the ESB was a nice example of the style.

The head brewer said they are doing a collaboration with Gunwhale so something to look forward to. Cheers!
