If you are in the Pearl, World Foods is a good place to stop for bottle/can shopping. Only a couple blocks from Deschutes.

Looking to pick up some cans (or possibly bottles) Monday or Tuesday to enjoy while I'm in town. Hazy IPAs or farmhouse/wild sours preferred. I was looking at Ruse but they don't open until later in the week. Staying in Laurelhurst but I'll have a car and am willing to drive. The only place I'll rule out is Great Notion as they distribute pretty frequently to Seattle now. Any suggestions?

Culmination makes some pretty decent hazies, as does Level. I'm not a huge fan of Claim 52's hazies, but I might be in the minority there. Anyway, they make a considerable number of well priced hazies as well. For Farmhouse/wild sours I'd recommend pfriem, but I assume you can probably get their stuff in Seattle. So maybe try to obtain some Ale Apothecary? You should be able to find their beer at Belmont Station or Beer Mongers, and even at places like Zuppans and Market of Choice. If you don't mind grabbing a crowler, maybe give Upright a shot? Good luck

I know you mentioned no Great Notion, but letting you know that both newly released Juice Jr. and Mango Ripe are tasting divine. Orange Creamsicle is also now available. Always a tasty summertime treat. Easy pickup at GN NW. Enjoy your stay.

Just ordered a four pack from Culmination. Upright looked good too but they're only doing Saturday pickups. Thanks y'all!

Anyone know if there's anywhere/bottle ship I might be able to get a bottle of HotD Matt in Portland?

Looks like 12-ounce bottles of 2016 and 2019 Matt are available in the Vintage Beers section of the Hair of the Dog site. And if you're feeling really festive, you can snag a liter of 2013 Matt:

    https://www.hairofthedog.com/dogwear/products.asp?cat=6

They don't offer shipping, but here are some options which might work for you:

"These bottles are available for curbside pickup at the Brewery, sorry no shipping is available. If you are located out of the area and want to order, we may be able to connect you with a local partner/trader. We are also able to hold your order for pickup at a later date, please note any special instructions in the Additional Information section."

I would add that if you happen to be in PDX, most Market of Choice stores have the most current vintage of Matt as well (well, at least the MofC stores I've actually been to have had them).

That, and a few other things in the store have me questioning my budget for this month...

Visiting in a few weeks. I am sure a lot of places are closed but am planning on hitting Modern Times and Cascade since they look like they are open. Any other recommended breweries or bars that are open that are a must?

Wayfinder and Von Ebert both have large outdoor seating areas and crowds should be relatively low if you visit during the day. Good food at both too.

Any Portland breweries doing hard seltzers?

Not a brewery, but Reverend Nat's makes the Cascadia Hard Seltzers.

Hmmm.... to my knowledge, no, unless you include Modern Times. Most places are small and are draft heavy, so seltzers might not work.

We're a beer drinking town. We're also pretty laid back, which is why we'll let this question slide, and ignore the fact that what you did is the equivalent of walking into a bar in Boston singing praises to the Yankees. But i digress.

Deschutes has a line of them. Does that count?
