I'll be visiting San Clemente this weekend & am wondering if anyone knows of any good bars/pubs/bottle shops in the area? I plan on heading to Alpine, Modern Times, & possibly The Bruery but would like a few places close by. Thanks!
Pizza Port San Clemente would be the obvious recommendation. Left Coast might be worth a stop if you find yourself with ample free time and no desire to drive.
There's a newish brewery called Artifex which is just off Pico and on the way to Left Coast. Worth a stop.
Also check out The Brewhouse in San Juan Capistrano. Thirty taps and big bottle selection. Can bring your own food or might catch a food truck.
Pizza port for sure. The beers and pizza are great. Artifex as well. Both mentioned already. There is a cool craft bar in San Juan called the brew house which is only 10 min north of San Clem. Rider house is a small burger joint that has great burgers a some good beer, small but good selection. Ole's tavern is the go to for a good sport bar On a side note if you need a quick meal hit up Pedro's' Taco and get their carne Assad burrito. It's a staple in that area.
Also let me add the brew house has a small but very solid bottle selection. Here right now and they have rr consecration, and bomb as well as others.
