Visiting San Diego.. Specifically La Jolla Area

    Hi Folks,

    Heading to San Diego, for a little family reunion next weekend and wanted to get some ideas on places to hit that might be under the radar, specifically in the La Jolla area. Hoping to get some Alpine growler fills and I know its worth the schlep, and open to other suggestions.


    Also, and equally as important, looking for Fish Tacos. In previous visits, Oscar's took the cake. Spectacular, mind blowing fish tacos. Is there a spot in La Jolla area that is equally as good?

    Any and all advice is GREATLY appreciated. Will be rolling with infants and toddlers or I'd be angling for tickets to the Modern Times Funk Fest (though that shirt... I WANT IT!!!)....

    This. Hands down.

    For Tacos I would highly recommend Puesto. Their filet mignon tacos are amazing. Not sure about their fish tacos though.

    My place, Iron Pig Alehouse, is just a bit south of La Jolla. We're actually in the same neighborhood as both Oscar's. We're also extremely kid friendly. Cheers!
