I'll be heading to SD from 6/28 - 7/1 and wanted to grab some info on the beer shops. Have read a lot that Bine & Vine, Bottlecraft, and Best Damn Beer Shop on BA and that these are the places to go. Really hoping to pickup some fresh Pliny, anything FW Vintage series, anything Alpine hops, etc. All distros I can't get in Chicago (FW vintage shows up but damn hard to get). Will these items be on the shelves at the above mentioned stores? Should I plan on bringing in some 3Fs or Pipeworks to 'persuade' any of these shops to pull something out for me? I will not have a car and attempting IP trades will be tough so was just hoping some of the good shops would have what I'm looking for. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you had a rough day Frog. I've read the threads, the where to visits, the beer map, etc. Since I'll be there for work and can't get to a lot of shops/breweries was hoping to get specific info on if any of the shops would be persuaded by some non-distro beers from Chicago to help me get what I want. I haven't seen any of that communication in any thread.
It's unlikely that any of the FW BA brews will be in the stores here. Stickee Monkee was just released a few weeks ago, and already is pretty much gone. Fresh Pliny? Perhaps. Alpine - not that easy; you may catch Bine and Vine with the weekly Alpine release.
