A few questions before visiting this weekend:
    • Does Mirage Beer actually have a taproom? Google Maps claims they're open on Fridays and Saturdays.
    • Does Seapine allow outside food? Do they have food trucks?
    • Does Stoup (Ballard) allow outside food? Do they have food trucks?

Fairly sure they allow outside food, and in most of my previous visits there's been a food truck out front (and usually one across the street by Urban Family too) - and I just looked, schedules for both food trucks on the respective brewery websites. bam.

Also - I've never been, but Mirage's instagram seems to jive with your google results.

Mirage has a taproom inasmuch as it's a room (of sorts -- actually just a cavernous warehouse) with some taps and some to-go bottles. When I was there a few months ago, it was literally a makeshift counter with some stools & "tables" that were overturned 55 gallon plastic barrels. There is some outside seating, but it wasn't very nice that day so I sat in the "taproom." So if you're looking for ambiance, Mirage ain't it. But they do make really good beer.

Also, it's like a 1 minute walk from Full Throttle Bottles, which is absolutely worth a stop, IMO.

I think Great Notion has a tap room fairly close to all of that as well.

A quick google search turned up 22 (!!!) breweries in Ballard. That area is truly a beer nerd paradise.

I was talking about Georgetown where Mirage is, but yes - I agree - Ballard is exactly that.

Excellent. Will add Mirage to our pool of options (which already includes Full Throttle).

They do, but we probably won't stop there since we're visiting from Beaverton, where we already have a Great Notion location.

Any recommendations along the way from SEA airport to Yakima?

Just get your ass to Yakima as quickly as possible, and start hitting the breweries in the area.

This recommendation may be out of date, and they’re neither too far off nor perfectly on the way, but Black Raven is the only one I’d recommend. Maybe lay the groundwork for a future collab: Comrade Raven?

I am guessing you know about the Yakima breweries. Just a little down the road in Sunnyside is Varietal. I would put the a notch below Single Hill and Bale breaker, but might be worth your time.

Personally I would post up at Single Hill. They might just be the best Fresh Hop brewer in the state.

Varietal currently has a popup in Yakima at Schab’s.

Not enough time. Some of the places are in nearby (a relative term) towns.

I’m pretty sure this is an annual work trip for him and he’s got the Yakima area covered. He was asking about places en route.

I will be in Woodinville next weekend to visit my new granddaughter and celebrate my son's birthday. We plan to hit Black Raven, but any other recommendations? I see a few other breweries (Metier, Hops & Seeds, 20 Corners).

I wish this was an annual work trip, had a great time, but couldn't visit everything we had planned. Stopped by Formula on the way to Yakima. Hit up Single Hill and the Varietal tap takeover at Schab's.

Got pretty much the whole day in Seattle today. Plans for Cloudburst, Lucky Envelope & Reuben's.

If time allows, Stoup, Holy Mountain & Fast Fashion. Any additions or subtractions from this list? Also, any other recommendations for a cool breakfast in that area?

I would move Holy Mountain up the list. And if you're going to be at Reuben's, walk around the corner to Fair Isle if you like farmhouse ales.

Also - let me know how you like Cloudburst - it's been on my list all 3x I've been to Seattle, and I've failed all 3x to get there.

As much as I personally dislike going there, I'd suggest Holy Mountain over Lucky Envelope. But, if you can swing both, do both.
