I was born in 1986. Who is Wilt? Russell Wilson? Is Big O a rapper? I thought we were talking about basketball?

Russel Wilson is a midget, he could never play in the NBA. There is, after all, only one Spud Webb.

Had a quick 4 days in this wonderful city last week, and did the Frelard "pub crawl".

Started at 11am, we hit up Fremont, then proceeded to Schilling's, Brouwers, Outlander, Hales, Bad Jimmy's, Populuxe, Lucky Envelope, Reuben's and finished in Peddler's at around 10.30pm. Sadly, we missed Stoup as they were closed.

Also paid a visit to Radiator Whiskey, Bathtub Gin & Purple Wine Bar, along with The Yard House (the wife was shopping near by, and it was happy hour.)

Happy to be back in Seattle!

Thanks for this thread. I'll be visiting my parents who now live in Redmond towards the end of July and was wondering if there are any good bottle shops and/or beer bars in Redmond. I plan on making it to a few breweries and some of the other bars mentioned in the thread, but was hoping there might be something great that is close to my parents house.

Just got back yesterday from our Seattle trip visiting some friends for 5 days and we packed a good amount of beer related activities in. Our first night was my trip highlight brewery in Holy Mountain, pretty much everything was great: Pyrokensis, Brett astrial projection, Apricot Sour to name a few. Then on to our friends favorite bar: Pine Box, which had an impressive draft list and lots of things we don't see in VA.

Went to Ballard one afternoon and did a fun mini crawl with Reuben's, Hilliards, Peddler, and Stoup. We liked all four places, Reuben's probably was my top pick, and Peddler I didn't see as much chatter about, but we really enjoyed. It was really nice to have a Lyft drop you off at one spot and have so many short walkable choices.

Saturday we visited Freemont brewing but because it was around/during the Solstice fair, they only had four flagship-y type beers available and while all solid, we didn't get any of the more creative/stoundout offerings. We then stopped by Brouwers which was super packed but still cool and Outlander brewing (interesting).
If you made it and are awake this far down in my post, thanks for the info - this thread helped quite a bit. Cheers.

*edit Also it was sunny and 70ish every day with zero rain, I'm not supposed to tell anyone on the east coast though.:grinning:
