That they do. I think Holy Mountain and Cloudburst made the leap straight to the top without passing Go, but for them it was entirely deserved and beyond contention. I have no issue with that whatsoever. Nevertheless, Seapine makes some super well-crafted brews in divergent styles, and the new space credits them further still. Plus, I understand they are 'good people,' which matters--to me, anyway.

I'd put them in my personal top-tier, but they definitely have to be listed somewhere among our "recommended." In fact, it is long overdue. Please fix this, @BuckeyeOne.

Got to visit this weekend - super mega impressed with Cloudburst. Holy Mountain is great too (I already knew that) but damn if Cloudburst didn't completely kill every beer I tried.

Excited to come by for yet another visit and glad to learn there are new breweries to try. Support for the Fremont dude on last page. Huge fan and basically booked our stay location based on walking proximity

guys, any places particularly better with a kid? Fremont for example was very kid/dog friendly in my view

The majority of Seattle breweries are kid friendly. Reubens, Stoup, Urban Family, Lucky Envelope, Big Time, Populuxe, Ravenna, Naked City, Flying Bike, Lantern, Peddler, Schooner, Seapine, Hilliards, etc. The majority of bottleshops, bars and beer-centric restaurants aren't.

Actually this is easier: The only Seattle breweries that don't let kids in are Holy Mountain (you can bring them in if you're only getting growler fills or buying bottles/merch), Hellbent, Two Beers and Cloudburst.

Chuck's would be a notable exception. Heck, they even have ice cream for the little ones.

Chuck's, Collins Pub, Hudson Public House, Last Drop Bottle Shop, Watershed and Naked City are all good beer places that let kids in. Better than nothing!

And RIP Mutiny Hall. I love Toronado, but it was awfully nice being able to take my kid in there when it was still Mutiny Hall.

Unfortunately, Hudson Public House is no more. Seth has sold it.

Fortunately HM and Cloudburst beers are on tap at lots of kid friendly places.

You can add my name to the growing list of Cloudburst fans. I tried my first Cloudburst beer last weekend (Clickbait IPA-- great name), and I thought it was superb.

    Hey all, happy Friday.

I'm a Seattle native but live on the East coast. Looking to score some bottles to take home and wanted to see if my short list could use some additions.

    • Holy Mountain -- I saw they had a line for their stout release so I'm sure they're out of bottles. Would that be correct?
    • Fremont -- Not sure if they have any seasonal releases out right now but is there any "new" stuff that would be worth packing?
    • Chucks -- Was going to go hunting there. Anything you guys would rec from the area?
    • Bottleworks?
The main breweries I aim to find in bottles are deGarde, Holy Mountain, Fremont, and Ninkasi. I'm sure I'm missing some but would love to hear from you guys.

    cheers

correct. they have other bottles available. let's be real for once, too: HM saisons > HM stouts. both are great, but the saisons are what makes HM so special. the fact that they also do barrel-aged stouts well is just the cherry on top. go pick up some fremont BBA beers instead.

not really. Summer Ale is out, which is so damn good. no special bottles floating around right now tho...

don't know if you were here for the opening of the CD location, but that's the place to go. they have a crowler machine, along with a healthy selection of bottles from fremont, holy mountain, propolis, and gigantic, to name a few. they use to have a stack of de garde bottles, but i think that's gone by now.

    nah.

HM still had Witchfinder and Goat bottles for sale last week. They probably still do.

Fremont's Shine Pilsner is in bombers, they might have some at the UBG.

I was also at a Chucks 85th last week and I think they still had Anian bottles behind the counter.

Ninkasi is grocery store/gas station beer now, but I did see BA Ground Control at Costco for $15.

Pick up some 3-Way cans. Go to Reubens and get some cans. They've got Gose, Crikey, Summer IPA and Daily Pale.
