How hard is it to find them in Denver? You would think they would hang around for awhile there like they do in Portland.

It depends. B bomb usually sticks around for a few weeks to a month, the other stuff is usually a bit quicker. I was primarily curious if Fremont kept bottles to purchase at the brewery. Some breweries do this, so if I could just pop in and pick some up, I would. Seems like that's not the case though.

    Thanks everyone for the info.

They don't hold any back to sell later.

Are any of the Fremont barrel aged beers around now in Seattle? Gonna be there this weekend. I have no idea when they are released or when they are available.

They came out between November and December. I haven't seen them around for a while now, but you might get lucky if you look hard.

Not strictly true, as any HHC attendee can attest. But I've never seen hold back bottles FS at the retail brewery.

Dude. Don't give the guy false hope.

And the first rule of HHC is don't talk about HHC. ;-)

Yeah, Distantmantra beat me to the punch on this.

I know a few places around town here in PDX where you can still find regular Bbomb, but by September, that's pretty unimaginable.

The Sixgill, one of the highly recommended beer bars is closing for good after today. Wonder if business has really dropped or if they just want to concentrate on the Noble Fir.

The FB post i saw about it said it will be reopening under new management and a new name. Maybe they just want to focus on the Fir?

Lot less stress just running a beer bar with no restaurant.

All the ferry rides are scenic. Ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island is a good one. Bainbridge Brewing is a nice spot with more than decent beer. Harbour Public House has good food and tap list --- FYI, it's 21+. Ferry from downtown Seattle to Bremerton is also good. Visit Silver City Restaurant and Brewery in Silverdale, a short drive from the ferry dock in Bremerton. You could also drive 1.5 hours from Seattle to Anacortes and stop in at Anacortes Brewery and Rock Fish Grill. Good stuff. Then take a ferry to and from Friday Harbor. Gorgeous views.

I just got home from a night in Port Townsend via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. Port Townsend is a beautiful town, Propolis Brewing makes very unique amazing beers and the Pourhouse has a great outside space on the water.

There's also Downpour Brewing and Hood Canal Brewing in Kingston near the ferry terminal.

This may be the first mention of HCB I've seen here. I'm something of a fan. Good, solid brewery that nobody ever thinks of, that typifies how rock solid our brewery scene is. Nice beer, nice folks, worth a stop if one is in the neighborhood.

From Seattle the ferry ride over to Bremerton is the most scenic. It's almost an hour over compared to less than 30 minutes to Bainbridge. In Bremerton there Is Silver City, Der Blocken, Lovecraft, and Dog Days. Poulsbo is just a short drive and home to Sound, Rainy Daze, Valholl, Slippery Pig and a cool little Norwegian like downtown.
