Kitsap has several breweries, but the must hits are Sound and Valholl in Poulsbo, Bainbridge Brewing, and Silver City in Bremerton (tasting room), Silverdale (restaurant). Rainy Daze in Silverdale is also very good, but has very limited hours. Best to call. Seattle is just a ferry ride over.

Silver City, Sound Brewing, Hales (has a location in Silverdale strangely).

Hales closed that location last month. I heard they're looking for a better location in Kitsap.

and an aside, anyone know the best sushi in Kitsap/ Bremerton? Seems to be a lot of Thai places there, fewer Japanese.

Hakata for authenticity. Origami for diversity. Trappers for AYCE.

And......you did not ask but Nattamit for Thai.

Most of them are so small you can see the brewery set up from the taproom.

I found Coffee KDS and Spice Wars at 99 Bottles, is regular KDS still around town anywhere?

Honestly, only seen a tour at Hilliard's and that looked like one of those commercial beer tours where Hilliard's just let them do their thing and not with an official representative of the brewery.

P.S. Thank you for the Brave Horse rec.! We loved the ribs and loved the fact that they had Sculpin and Hop Venom on tap!

A place like PCC may still have it. I know they had it a week ago at the Fremont location.

The PCC by my house in Greenlake Urban Village has KDS.

Several bottles of regular KDS still available at both PCC Green Lake locations, as well as Whole Foods Roosevelt. A bit more than what you would've paid at Fremont a couple weeks ago, but the fact they are still available is the important thing.

Anything going on this weekend in Seattle beer event wise? I'm planning on heading up for the weekend from Portland to visit a friend and was planning on some brewery/beer activities.

Not that I know of. Plenty of good stuff available on tap and in stores though. KDS and the variants are still on the shelves if you want 'em.

Welp guess I'll stick to my Stoup/Chucks in Green Lake/Toronado plan then. I always seem to end up at Fremont when I visit my friend, he lives quite close. I was hoping to do things/places I haven't done but if KDS is still around...

Chucks is in Greenwood. I'm in Green Lake. ;-)

KDS Spice Wars is still at the brewery, you'll have to go other places for standard and coffee.

Damnit. What're the odds that since they share a word that Green Wood and Green Lake are next to each other?

Hmmm. Is regular KDS on tap at Fremont? If no standard or coffee on tap or bottles at the brewery I'll just find some somewhere else.

    They're separated by Aurora.

I think regular KDS was still on tap, but Spice Wars was definitely still on tap and in bottles.

If you're willing to make the drive to Federal Way, 99 Bottles had Coffee bottles earlier this week.
