Checking out the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene areas this weekend, and looking for brewery and store recommendations. Brought a bag with me to take beer back, but sadly didn't have a chance to set up any trades.

I lean towards the BA stouts and sours/wild ales, but happy to hear about anything. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Selkirk Abbey in Post Falls is very good, and has a great tap room. It's right on 90 in between CDA and Spokane. Mostly Belgian styles

Enoteca is a great bottle shop also in Post Falls and not far from Selkirk Abbey

Pilgrims in CDA is another good bottle shop, and it's pretty much all singles so you can mix and match to your heart's content

For breweries I've also been to Downdraft, Daft Badger, Slate Creek, and Tricksters. All of them had some decent beers. I remember particularly liking the single hop IPA at Downdraft

You should also try to have lunch at Hudsons in downtown CDA one day, excellent burgers with an old 50's diner feel, sitting at the counter

Thanks, ablackshear, was able to hit Selkirk and Pilgrims, along with Laughing Dog in Sandpoint. Sadly, Hudsons was closed on the day we stopped by. Next time!
