Where's the best place to buy beer in Spokane. Also, are there any cool places to eat and drink beer. Cheers
I've never tried to eat beer, but that's just me... Seriously, I lived in Spokane in the mid 70's but am seriously disconnected from the beer scene there today. I do know that you might wish to avoid the refurbished IHOP brewpub place in the Valley, for the nonce. Some friends visited there and it was awful.
The bigger question is, why, oh why are you visiting Spokanistan in the first place? (them dry-siders been kinda quiet lately, gotta see if they're still with us)
This is pretty much the best place to do both, 50 taps and good food. Huckleberry's is good, although I've been to Bottles twice and never found anything that tickles my fancy. Lots of old IPA's and such. Total Wine has a pretty good selection for what it's worth.
Coming from anywhere in Oklahoma, you are going to be pleasantly surprised, unless you are a glutton for punishment.

The Post Street Alehouse is walking distance from the Davenport. 26 taps and decent food. In case you want to stumble back to your hotel room.
Personally, I've never had a good food experience there, but last I checked they had an epic happy hour. Also, FWIW, it's owned by the same people who own the Davenport, so there might be some sort of discount for Davenport guests.
How long are you staying until? I work there and will be on Monday-Friday. Are you staying at the Tower or Historic property?
