Visiting Tarrytown NY next week

    I'll be staying in Tarrytown NY for a couple days next week in business travel. Any recommendations on places to checkout/shop while I'm in town? Thanks for the help!

    Bridge View Tavern is a nice little bar right there in Sleepy Hollow. Recommended.

    If you aren't averse to a little driving, Peekskill Brewery is about 15 miles up the road. Highly recommended.

    Thank you kindly! The links mention growler fills, do places generally fill 32oz swingtops? I use these for homebrew and have a few empties that would be awesome to get filled.

    Peekskill Brewery is a must if you have transportation. Best hoppy beers in the state.

    Agree with the recommendations above. I believe you can just take the Metro North train up to Peekskill as well, which is probably a better idea than driving b/c you'll want to drink a lot at Peekskill.

    Peekskill probably won't fill swingtops because they have a counter-pressure system.

    Not true, they won't fil them with the counter pressure system but will fill them straight from the tap.

    Also, OP refer to long running Peekskill thread in this forum on how they charge for 32 oz growlers.

    Thank you all! I'm on my way home. Was able to snag a couple things I can't get at home (Mogli, Double Dose, & Captain Laurence DIPA). Definitely a ton a great places, next trip i will work in enough time to get to Peekskill.
