The release of the list will have 0 bearing on my life today. I will just know what beers I will be drinking/grabbing on Sunday.

With that being said: Knowing it's close is completely distracting me from my work today lol

Shoot - only 10 times? my dumba$$ assumed they'd update around 8am Pacific time, so I've been routinely checking for most of my day, now! Finally decided I should probably get some work done (yet here I am on BA :flushed:) and turned my FB notifications on. Looking forward to meeting some folks on Sunday!

So since we're all still awaiting the big reveal, let's play "Guess. The. Allotment!"

Or how about this: over/under 1.5 on "The" beers?
Over/under 2.5 on fruited Bu (imperial or regular)?

Is the whale watching as good as the bovine watching?

Well, whale watching is a seasonal event, whereas bovine watching is a year round hobby in Tillamook.

So that would be a no I think. :-)

It's worth some effort to seek out the elusive Cascadian Hairy Clam though.

    We're busilly cleaning and organizing for our anniversary event here this weekend, but wanted to share a couple updates with you;

First, a reminder that our event is CASH ONLY to expedite any potential wait. We are also SOLD OUT of tickets, and are closed to the general public this Saturday and Sunday.

Second, our bottle list to go for the event, with pricing and allocations:
Grand Rouge Reserve; We aged a wild red ale in oak tank for an extended period, then refermented with late harvest Oregon Zinfandel grapes. After whole cluster fermentation and aging, we transferred the beer to virgin French oak tanks for continued maturation. This beer has a beautiful toasted oak and rich fruit character, with a balanced Brett influence and delicate acidity. Low carbonation enhances the vinous nature of this beer. $14/btl, 1 btl/person

Eponym; A blend of several batches, barrels, small oak tanks and years of wild brown, amber, and Bier de Garde, this was further conditioned on toasted Maple wood with a small amount of Maple syrup. Semi-sweet and balanced wood character marry with a medium acidity and complex fermentation character. $13/btl, 2 btl/person

Imperial Berry Bu; Our oak aged Imperial Berliner inspired base beer, refermented with Oregon berries. $10/btl, 1 btl/person

The Flor; A new release from our Lambic inspired series, this beer was fermented and extensively aged in 65% oak Sherry and 35% oak Brandy barrels. Big nutty Sherry notes with a subdued oxidative sweetness, medium acidity, and a complex Brett character. $15/btl, 1 btl/person

Oude Desay; A wild farmhouse blend, composed of three different years of oak barrel and oak tank matured Petit Desay batches. This presents expressive fruit character from the fermentation, a restrained acidity, and balancing oak and funk character. $12/btl, 2 btl/person

Sucre Brun; A wild brown ale aged in a variety of oak barrels for up to three years. Complex notes of cacao, dried plum and cherry, espresso, semi-sweet chocolate and oak meld with a moderate acidity, brisk carbonation, and and a bright finish. $12/btl, 1 btl/person

Saison Melange No. 5; A blend of wild farmhouse ales, each oak aged for up to 32 months, and including some dry Vermouth and Gin barrels. Bright floral and earthy notes blend with a moderate Brett presence, with a crisp carbonation and acidity on the finish. $9/btl, 1 btl/person

Imperial Raz Bu; Our oak aged Imperial Berliner inspired base, refermented on Oregon Raspberries. $10/btl, 1 btl/person

The total allocation this release will be ten bottles per person, with the total cost amounting to $120. You may of course choose to buy less (or none). We think you will enjoy each very much!

The draft and bottle pour list is also shaping up beautifully, and we're incredibly excited to share with everyone soon!

    A couple thoughts:

Eponym is a perfect name for a Biere de Garde.

It's strange that's there's only 10 bottles, but I suppose they need something to sell on Thursday and Friday.

I'm surprised that there's no "The Anniversary" beer...

10 bottles of beer (including several with 3 year old components) for $120 is a friggin steal.

I was also surprised to see 10 bottles vs 12, but the list still looks killer!
