Anything I should be looking out for? We're outside of Chattanooga so I'll be stopping by Moccasin Bend Brewing, I also want to hit the local shops and see if there's anything interesting to try, appreciate any recommendations.
I really liked Terminal Brewhouse in downtown Chattanooga...both food and beer were really good...also go over into Georgia...in Ft. Ogelthorpe you will find Beverage Worl...it's just over the state line and you should be able to pick up beera there that dont distribute to TN like Westbrook.
When I visit Chatt I usually try to stop in the Flying Squirrel, it's a fairly new bar, but usually has a good taplist and food when I've been. I second the Beverage World recommendation, as KMitch mentioned you'll find Westbrook, plus Allagash, Cigar City, Bell's and among others.
Beverage World is a big hit for sure. I had a good time at the http://www.brewhausbar.com/ They had a good beer list. My friend and I tried to go to The Terminal and had a horrendous experience with the hostess. As such, I can't recommend that place.
Thanks guys, I made it down to beverage world and picked up some bottles to ship home, Bell's, clown shoes and a few others. I'm going to try and get back to chatt tonight and try a few local brews.
Headed to Nashville / Chattanooga in sept. Find any places / beers that are a must try in Chattanooga?
