Which of the locations would have the best offering on a Thursday afternoon? We could stay in Indy or make the trip out to Bloomington if it`s worth while. How would you rank them? Bloomington Brewpub West Side Beer Camel Tap Broad Ripple The plan is to stay in Louisville Thursday night, so obviously waiting until Broad Ripple opens at 4:00pm, or traveling to the brewery in Bloomington would be the most inconvenient, but both are doable.
I've been to both the Carmel and BroadRipple locations and they are pretty lackluster. I've rarely seen anything on tap that you couldn't find at a nearby liquor store. (Wheat, Dragonfly, etc.) I'd recommend checking Twenty Tap and Hopcat's beer list for the day, as I think you'll enjoy either experience more.
Would second the heading to Indy. Visit the Broad Ripple stop and then hit up Twenty Tap or HopCat.....
