Spending a few days in Williamsburg this weekend. Anything in particular I should look out for?

I plan to go by Alewerks like I did last time I was in town. Hopefully there is some Cafe Royale there or on shelves nearby.

I might have talked my wife into visiting a Vietnamese restaurant while we drive through Richmond. I didn't mention anything about it being a craft beer Mecca.

    What else?

The various Green Leafe Cafes usually have decent draft lists.

Dog Street Pub and The Wine Seller are worth checking out . Last I heard Alewerks had some Cafe Royale and Bitter Valentine .

I'm thinking that I drive to Richmond, stop at Mekong, head by Hardywood, and then she drives to Williamsburg? She eats some Pho and I drink. And then drink some more and get growlers filled.
After that, Days 2 and 3 will probably be her choice.

I figure we'll probably wander by the Wine Seller while looking around or shopping.

I'll have to keep an eye out for Dog Street and Green Leafe.

    Thanks.

alewerks also has their "marley's lament" on draft - a great holiday ale

Just a heads up, Mekong doesn't do growler fills

Thanks for the replies. Mekong was cool. Better food than expected. My wife was happy to put up with my beer fetish when plied with good vietnamese food.

Dog Street was OK. Best part was half pours to taste more. Otherwise, just OK.

Green Leafe was the the surprise. Hole in the Wall college bar. But, good people and a great vibe to go with a very solid tap list. The kicker was a very solid burger. I would be there weekly if this was in my hood.
