    Possibly old info for some (couldn't find a post) but brewery vivant is on the shelves in the western burb binnys. They got escoffier!!!

    great news. Now all they have to do is move the chapel to chicago as well, that place is unreal cool

    If they have Big Red Coq i recommend picking some up. I absolutely love that beer

    You'll have to pry it out of Grand Rapids. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to chain myself to the building if it came to that!

    If you havent tried their beers yet, you should. They're doing a bunch of bar launches around the city, and i've got'em here at the store tomorrow evening sampling too.

    never had them. anything in particular? hoping for something that isn't 'rare' and wont. with some beer events happening tomorrow and fobab, i won't have time until next week.

    Big Red Coq, Zaison, and Escoffier are my favorites in no particular order. Not sure what kind of selection you're getting in IL though.

    Pretty sure Zaison was my favorite beer available at the brewery when I was there. I know I had escoffier but dont remember what I thought of it

    Agree to disagree..... but coming from someone with a Cantillon avatar you must know the amount of labor, time, and ingredients that goes into a wild ale. either way.... potatoe potato. See you at FOBAB, I'll be the skinny one with the patchy beard.

    I agree. This seems very reasonable. I bet if it were a 750 for 17, no one would say anything.
