This Vermonter doesn't really care. I pour it into a glass and that's where i want it to look good.

Picked up some of the new label pils last week. It tasted different to me, a little drier, with more hop bitterness and flavor. Most likely, my palate is still recovering from Covid though. Whether the change is in the beer or my imagination, I like the new taste:slight_smile:

Most stores down in southern New England still have the old cans and labels on the shelves. I think I found 1 store that had a 6 pack of one of the newer cans. These liquor stores are very slow to get new stock in as you all know.

Grabbed a 6er of the Pilsner today. Best by (hate that) 8/6/24.

The rebrand is painful. A tiny gold/yellow band with writing in white font detailing the style. White on yellow in tiny letters? I can’t read thst ffs.

I loved that these guys just put the style or beer on big writing all over the can and didn’t bother with trying to come up with catchy names.

    not feeling it

I'm okay with it. It puts their brewery name on display which is all I need to see to know I'm going to get a solid lager. I don't think the old labels were revolutionary either, I was just familiar with them. Now I'll get use to the new ones which also aren't revolutionary. Von Trappe is about the beer, not the branding, and I'm good with that.

Gotta say that the Von Trapp Stowe Style collaboration series is what Beer Camp could have been. All have been a home run in my opinion.

If that was the case then they wouldn't have changed anything.
(but I know what you mean )

That's fair. In my opinion Von Trappe is about the beer to me, not the branding. And also a fun disc golf course.
