Honestly don't let the 4 hours scare you away. Last year people were complaining about the hours (was 3 last year) but they ended up letting people stay for about 4 hours and continue to drink. Our group had a blast last year and the lines were extremely reasonable. Longest line we stood in was probably 10 minutes and that was for Bokkereyder Brewing and all other lines were probably 2-3 minutes max.

Not the case at all. You can ask anyone who went last year that nobody had to fight over anything and there was plenty of beer and everyone got to try what they wanted. They added 10 more breweries and only added 200 more tickets

I couldn't believe how much I got to try last year...Best beer festival I've ever been to. Hands down.

Any shuttles heading to the fest from Erie? Or would Uber/Lyft be the best bet into Meadville? Attending for the first time and will likely sleep at a hotel in aerie, unless there are better suggestions from locals...Less than a week away. Looking forward to it!

There is a shuttle running from Fairview Quality Inn but you need to be staying there or pre purchase a ticket if you aren’t. I think last day to purchase is Tuesday. I would email them [email protected] to find out.

Any food recommendations for the Meadville area? Coming in early Saturday, leaving early Sunday. Looking to grab something before and after the event obviously. Anything else happening in the area that evening to checkout?

Pretty sure Voodoo is doing breakfast Sammies while people wait to get into the fest, obviously food at the fest too.

There’s a second Saturday going on downtown before the fest and some of those places have food etc. market house, tarot bean. Pampered palate isn’t Too far from the Downtown second Saturday area.

Afterwards. Voodoo Pub on Arch street has food. The best sit down meal is Chophouse. If you wanted Mexican you can do compadres both are nearish to the hotels. Julian’s is pretty good and in the downtown area. Hunters inn for wings but it’s out of the way.

Otherwise you got all the fast food one can dream of.

Looking forward to attending for the first time this year! I’m sure some will, but other than a line share, is there any reason to line up 3 hours early for the festival? Will certain beers be limited?

As with any festival I’m sure some beers will kick quicker than others. People lined up early last year and I don’t know why it baffles me

Don't think anyone needs to pregame before the event, but that's me.

Does the brew pub offer cans or anything to go? Would like to take home some offerings on tap too since I'll be ... Well I won't be able to taste much after the event I imagine.

Cans and growlers and crowlers. Last year they had cans for sale to go at the fest.

AC Dave's, everything Bokke, both DG beers, and whatever Voodoo is slinging

Also the mac and cheese because it was incredible last year

EDIT: SARA Recency Effect is actually my #1, but I'm thinking that'll last all day

Even better than last year. It’s easily my favorite event.
