When I left yesterday around 5:30pm, all had kicked except for The K13.

I was shocked they lasted as long as they did. A friend was driving me down after work around 3:15 and I was very pleased the only one that had kicked was the 2 Live Grand Cru. Then as I walked in, Matteo was crossing off Grande Negro. Luckily a friend who had been there since 12:30 was too drunk to finish his glass so I got to have the majority of Barrel Room collections.

Really fun event, had a blast. Especially liked the plain clothed police officer inside that was keeping a eye on everyone and his "beer nerd" Serpico routine.

I drove past at like 8:30-45 ish and there were some police cars sitting out front. Was way too busy to go in with the wife, but I am assuming the police were for just preventive measures?

For as crowded as that place was, it seemed like everything ran smoother than you can imagine. I don't think people waited super long to get beers. I feel like everyone who got their beer allowed other people to make their way to the bar which was really awesome too!

I feel like space cadet isn't getting enough love for how tremendous it is. I only hope voodoo comes across enough galaxy to brew it on a regular basis.

I'll echo what others have said; I thought yesterday was executed flawlessly given how many people were there at 12:00. The barrel room beers lasted a long time and the employees did a really good job. I was even able to find a non-secured wifi network to watch chelsea/man city which made it even better.

The spot is awesome and I will head there often for brews & growler fill ups. Hopefully they'll fill growlers with space cadet next time it's avaialable.

I'm glad to hear everyone had a good time! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet more of you officially, but we were pretty much continuously slammed for the 12 hours we were open.

This is amazing. I wish I noticed him.

With the size of the line when we opened, and the crowd we had for the first couple hours, I honestly can't believe the barreled stuff lasted as long as it did. Especially the K13, which I'm guessing lasted til 730/8 (I'm pretty sure part of that was that K13 was the lowest one written on the wall, so some people may not have noticed it under all the crossed out kicked barrel stuff). Even the Space Cadet kicked before the K13 (no knock against SC -- I got to try it for the first time this weekend and thought it was incredible -- but come on, K13?!)

I'm guessing it'll be calmer today though, if anybody wants to check out the space and have a beer. There should still be about 10 taps on -- all the year round stuff, BBVD, H2P, IPL, and the Single Hop Session Pale Ale w/ Belma Hops.

I should also probably mention, i'm just bartending there. In no way am I an official representative of Voodoo or anything, and it's unlikely that I'll know much/any more than you guys do about barrel releases and future plans for the brewery and/or taproom.

Oh yeah. The Space Cadet and the 2 Live were the ones I didn't get to try before they kicked. But I had SC in Meadville.

I also hope they plan on bottling or at least keeping the IPL in rotation because it was amazing. Easily the best
IPL I've had and would be incredible in the summer.

This. This is probably why it lasted like it did. I don't think you could see it from over the other side of the bar unless you knew to look maybe?

    That IPL is so tasty!!!

It being the worst beer available on that board may have played a role in it's longevity.

The Eagle Rare Tenacious Wee was agian the highlight of their lineup.

I really wish they wouldn't serve everything so damn cold. They do this at Meadville too and it pisses me off.
