Starting August 5th at 10:00am, you will be able to purchase up to four (4) bottles of Vietnamese Speedway Stout and up to six (6) bottles of Barrel Aged Speedway Stout.

If one Speedway wasn't enough, our next batch of Barrel Aged Speedway Stout is ready
as well! We've matured our Russian Imperial Stout in premium bourbon barrels for
one year to create the perfect blend of flavors. Notes of oak, vanilla, and bourbon
add another level of complexity to this beer's already massive flavor profile of
chocolate, Ryan Bros. Coffee, and roasted barley.

I'm really surprised BA Speedway Stout is available again this quickly. You SoCal BA'ers are spoiled!

Premium bourbon barrels? Is this supposed to be better than previous releases of BASS?

You can't have a trustee pick bottles up for you.

Might be able to find a local who would gopickitupforyou though. I plan on getting the Vietnamese, but not the BASS for example.

I wonder if OT slots are still available at work-

Yes, I'd like to sign up for 57 hours of OT this week... for beer expenditures August 5th and Labor Day Weekend.

Word. I think I'm gonna skip the blue palms and 38 degrees anniversary parties just so I can buy the speedway variants and DDG.

I had the new version of BASS. Apparently it's a slightly different coffee blend. It was amazing, but I can't make too much of a comparison to the previous version because I was real drunk last time I tried it.

Will these eventually reach the rest of socal? Do I have to go to Alesmith? Will they sell out that day?

I'm heading down to SD on the tenth, will that be too late?

They'll sell out in 10 minutes or less, but its all online. You get until mid October to pick the beer up, you just need to bring the original email confirmation and a matching ID. They will not give you the beer without those two.

For the record, the actual beer is released on the 10th (although as I said, you have until mid-October to pick it up), so if you manage to get any on the 5th, you will be right on time.
