I know there's no "trustees" but if anyone is going and not getting the full allotment It would be awesome if they could mule for me. I'll buy in your name and hook you up with beer for helping an Eastcoast BA out

I'm in for a VSS and BASS. Flying in all the way from Florida just for the release party on the 10th!

I'm kidding with you. :grinning: I have vacation booked and it just happened to coincide with the release so I will actually be there from Florida, just not specifically for that reason.

And I am expecting an e-mail within the next week or so from the Bruery with way too much beer that I want to buy.

According to the other thread Oude Tart with Cherries should be ready. Just going off the amount of beer left in the membership, I would guess there will be 4 total with the next e-mail. Windowsill (the pie beer) will probably be one of them. Then people are saying the bourbon apricot beer (Praecocia) was served at the last clusterfork, so that very well could/should be ready. Then the last one could be either White Chocolate, Grey Monday, Rueuze, Bourbon Smoking wood. Most of this is speculation, but there are a bunch of beers left to be released and not too much time left in the year.

yep, i am ready for a big hurt month... Last year Grey Monday and White Chocolate were both sold/announced in July (unless i'm mis-remembering), plus the new stuff we already know about, plus whatever mystery beer #2 is (though i imagine this might be a later beer since we just got mystery beer #1)....

Between my wife's love for white chocolate (i like it too!) and my obsession for anything black-tuesday-ish, it's going to be painful. now if only i can find a couple fellas to help me out with DDG/BASS, then my bank-breaking will be complete!

Bummed that the sale/release wasn't a week earlier when my bro would be in SD...

Having been to the brewery dozens of times, I've never seen a non-Heaven Hill barrel there, FYI. That doesn't mean anything, of course, since HH has a lot of brands and they potentially are storing more barrels somewhere that people walking around can't see. Although, in my personal opinion a BBA beer that actually tastes enough like the liquor itself for the drinker to tell the difference is going to be way too boozy anyways.

No proxies either. Best bet is to pre-trade with someone.

How can I not buy a BPT in someone else's name which would match their ID?

A quote from the BPT Event page:
****Please USE ONLY YOUR NAME TO PURCHASE THE BOTTLES. YOUR PURCHASE IS JUST FOR YOUR BOTTLES. YOU CANNOT PURCHASE BOTTLES UNDER SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU BUY THEM, YOU MUST PICK THEM UP.****

I get that but are they going to check every purchase to make sure the name matches the credit card? How can they regulate that?

Do I have to buy tickets to the launch party? Will it be on tap?

Sorry for asking so many questions but thanks for answering them all.

I love the long window AleSmith gives you to pick up your bottles. Coming from LA, its much easier to find a time within a 2 month window. Too bad other (cough cough...Lost Abbey..cough) breweries don't follow this model.

    I'll be grabbing 4 & 4 4 sho.

I'm strongly considering going down to SD for labor day weekend, picking up bottles at both places, and doing other fun San Diego stuff. LA's short pickup window in no way completely deters non-locals.
