For my VT BA's, or anyone in the know...a few questions.

I'll be passing right by the brewery come mid March so doing some early research.

    1) Will they fill growlers with any company name on it? (been to many places they won't unless theirs)
    2) Anything normally released at this time of year you might be aware of that I should look for?
2a) If so, recommendations. Love IPA and IIPA's.
    3) Do they limit purchases on anything?

    Thanks brothers!

Jbrews, I always bring a bunch back to share. Problem is nobody ever has anything good to share with me!

I know the IPA is always available. Is 2nd and Master?

It's def not weekly and 2nd fiddle is easier to get then Mastermind. Keep an eye on their pages. 2nd Fiddles last release on Dec 31st cleaned out pretty quick. Mastermind is brewed a bit less often. But so so good.

They only fill their growlers. Straight IPA is almost always on and it is IMHO legit.

What? Not true. I've filled magic hat and Birdsong growlers there recently.

Mastermind is hardly ever there in cans and I only remember it on tap a couple times the last two years. Doesn't hurt to call them and ask about second fiddle, it's released more often. I haven't seen that in tap more than a couple times either.

Only limit is cans I believe.

They always have their IPA and usually have somethigg hoppy on for growlers as well.

Can't hurt to call them about any of your questions honestly..

They definitely fill other companies' growlers, or at least they did last October when I was there. Fill sizes are 1L and 2L, but I got some 750mLs filled for the 1L price (which was cheaper than buying new growlers). You won't find cans unless you go shortly after a launch, however.

I'm planning another trip and curious too. Hoping to get 2nd fiddle this time. Definitely worth seeking their stuff out and going to the brewery. I went two years ago and they had sold out of mastermind, but the woman running the taps called around a few places in the area, and found a place that still had cans. For someone who is only in the area once or twice a year, that extra effort from staff made all the difference in the world. Great beer, classy people. Definitely recommended.

I don't know how far ahead they plan their brew schedule but it is always worth calling them. They will let you know what is coming up. Second Fiddle generally lasts a bit longer these days, no doubt the New Year's Eve sale went a bit faster due to the holiday and all.

im a regular visitor who lives 15min from brewery.
yes they will fill other growlers
Regular IPa is always on tap, ussally one other, sometime two.
Generally no limits, only on can releases and that is at least a couple cases
I'm pretty sure Mastermind won't be back until the summer
second fiddle is released about every few weeks. For the most part They have stopped announcing releases on social media. During non busy times such as March 2nd fiddle cans should stick around for a few days maybe a few days longer for growler fills. If I remember correctly Hodad usally shows up late winter. Give them a call when you trip gets closer
