Heading out to VT tomorrow for some beers Anyone know what Lawson's is offering right now? Also, what should I get at Hill Farmstead?

Stop at the Warren Store and the Hunger Mountain Coop on your way to Hill Farmstead and you should hopefully be able to land some Lawsons.

As per the Lawsons blogspot, the following bottles were available 2 days ago at the Waitsfield Farmers Market so perhaps these are what you might find somewhere tomorrow...

    2011 Maple Tripple Ale (12%) - $30/500ml
    2010 Farmhouse Rye (11%) - $30/750ml
    Double Sunshine IPA - $9/22oz
    Chinooker'd IPA - $8/22oz
Session in The Rye - $7/22oz
    Knockout Blonde - $7/22oz**

Thanks! I have a bottle of the Tripple and the Farmhouse rye... love the double sunshine. I guess it's a little early for his porters and stouts huh...

The tripple and the rye won't be at the stores, but the other four should be

I was up there this past weekend and all of these were available at the Farmers Market. The Maple Tripple and the Farmhouse Rye won't be available until the next Farmers Market Sept 15th though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Knockout Blonde is all one will find today.

What days of the week are best to hit Hill Farmstead? I'll be up in the area on a Tues-Fri (10/9-10/12) and I wasn't sure if there were specific days where they were more stocked than others.

Yeh, we'll probably be getting in late on Tuesday anyway so that works out.

Day of the week really doesn't matter. I like going when they're the least busy. I went up a few months ago on a Wednesday and basically had the place to myself with my friends. Little different story this last weekend with the event going on.

So they don't have specific bottling days, just kind of a rolling schedule?

If they still have Society & Solitude 5 at HF, grab a 750, er...a 2L of that one!

Sounds like Wednesdays are pretty good days to go. I'll have to make sure there's room in my hotel fridge so I can keep it cool without having to buy ice every day I'm up there.

I was told they sold less of the Ephraim they expected to at the Festival, probably because of the lower growler limit. so maybe.
