W00t Stout 2.0 Online

For any of my fellow South Atlantic folks looking for W00t Stout 2.0 it is now available to purchase online from insidethecellar.com. 1 bottle per order. Shipping wasn't too bad and they do have some other goodies. I picked up a couple of Almanac sours and the Peanut Butter Milk Stout from Belching Beaver. I've ordered from there before and received good service. Just FYI.

 

My order was $54. Shipping on that was $20. About the same if I was shipping the package myself.

With all this W00t 2.0 talk I thought I'd revisit 1.0. While Aisha Tyler is > Wil Wheaton, 1.0 while still a little boozy is delicious and still had a fair amount of pecan and rye left. Crack 'em if you got 'em.

Thanks bud. Trading and shipping can get expensive. As pricey as the shipping at the online retailers can be, sometimes its still cheaper than trading when you factor in buying boxes, bubblewrap, extras, etc. I still trade but I like to buy online too.

 

There's a couple of important differences between the batches though. First, 2.0 is only being distributed to CA and KY unlike 1.0 that saw pretty heavy distribution. Second, this version has some stone-ground chocolate in it that 1.0 did not. Very curious to see what the chocolate does to this beer.
