As a reminder, the first Washington Beer Awards are being announced at the WA Beer fest today. Comments on the winners? Congrats so far to Kulshan, Gold for their Transporter.

Thanks for the updates. Since I've cut down on number of beer festivals I attend each year this is one of the casualties.

I haven't found the list posted on the Wa Beer Commissions site yet, I found those 2 on the Facebooks. Maybe Kendall will post the whole list later.

Here's the winners list, it wasn't on the WBC website, but on it's own: http://wabeerawards.com/?q=winners . North Sound breweries did OK for themselves. I would have liked to see more breweries enter, maybe next year.

Nice! Had to look up Republic. Holy crap that'd be a drive!

Yeah, it's a bit remote out there. If the nearest big town is Colville, ya might be rural. That said, it is on Highway 20, and that's a nice drive with several breweries (Birdsview, Old Schoolhouse, Twisp River) on the way, and a few others not too far away. Take the drive when ya get the chance.
