Sounds like these will be filled and canned at the brewey much like Oskar Blues "Crowlers", not out for distro. Sounds good depending on price.

Does Wachusett have brewery-only stuff? Because if the choice is 72oz of Larry in a convenient 6pk for $10 or 32oz of Larry in an annoying oversized container for $5+, well, I guess I don't see the point of the big can.

I don't see the point in this really. Either make a 16oz can or fill a regular 32oz growler.

I don’t know about everyone else’s local shop, but the 32 oz bottles of Sucks don’t seem to be flying off shelves at my local. And if the beloved Sucks doesn’t, hard to imagine….

I cannot for the life of me understand why a brewery would take a good beer in a good format at a good price (Sucks and Larry) and switch to an annoying size at a higher price point. What am I paying a premium for again? Having to rearrange my fridge? Making me commit to having a lot of beer or sharing a bottle vs. simply opening a bottle with dinner? Do not get it.

I would think 32oz of Larry in a can has an advantage over a glass growler because it can stay fresher for longer. Maybe they will be swithing to cans only. I thought they had occasional brewery only stuff. Milk Stout is brewey only i believe. I am thinking its just a marketing move since they are having a naming contest and are waiting to release them.

I sell through them pretty quick, but I think I charge like a buck less than everyone else, because I want them to go fast.
