well, it was with my friend, but i can't see why curious traders wouldn't make any of those trades. gandhi bot is probably > larry, but it doesn't matter. give it a try; will probably get done, i woudl think.

Stopped by Granite this afternoon because I happened to be out in the area and boy am I glad I did. A fresh supply of Larry cans. Man I've forgotten how good this stuff is. It really has the potential to be a huge boost for their business.

Curious, my cans have a best by 12/26/13 and I'm assuming they're using a 4 month window. Can anyone confirm this?

The 6-pack I got at Gordon's last week had January '14 dates on the bottom...

Maybe it's me, but I feel like 5 months is a bizarre timeframe

Think of it as 150 days. Though yes, even that feels a little...squirly.

Hah. I emailed them so we'll see if we can get to the bottom of this

I picked up a 6 pack at Sonoma in Glastonbury, CT. They also have bombers available.

I had two last night and this is a tremendous beer. They really nailed it with this one.

I was at Maltose Express in Monroe, buying homebrew stuff, and stopped into the package store next door. I was delighted to be able to score their last 6 pack of cans of Larry! Had one yesterday and this is just fantastic. MA's answer to Gandhi Bot, IMO.

Kind of funny to see all the positive comments about this beer now despite the fact that its been out for a while (just not in cans). Brewers take note, people love beer in cans!

    No, they love 6pk prices.

I think it's getting more love now too is that everyone know's at least this first run in cans is fresh. The bombers were generally old.

I think this is a big part of it. However, hopefully now that it's at a 6-pack price point (and handy 12-oz serving size) the stock will rotate more quickly. Which will keep it fresher. Which will make me more inclined to buy it more often. Which will rotate the stock more quickly. Which will keep it fresher. Which will make me more inclined to buy it. Which will rotate the stock more quickly...

I don't like bombers. I don't buy them if I can avoid it. I'm much more likely to buy something that comes in a 4/6pk.

I've always liked Larry, but never liked the cost/serving size of bombers. Now that it's available in fresh (for now at least) 6 packs for $10-$11 it's really one of the best buys in the state.

Fresh Larry rocks, fresh Larry in affordable 12 oz. serving is a game changer.

Larry's a good beer, and I think changing the format into the lower priced price-point will be a home run, add to that everyone's fascination with cans... Hell, I bought a six for $11.99, knowing I can get it cheaper elswhere, but also knowing that that's a $4 bomber pricing equivalent. HOWEVER, comparing to B-bot? are u insane? No where close. IMO, of course.
