Wakefield donor party

12-4pm my friend. No clue on the tap list though.

 

I haven't heard anything but there are a couple guys on BA that are close to JW so maybe they have an update?

 

OG bottle #3 is not ready (still in barrels).

 

still awaiting his update about this OG party... any idea of there will be a food truck or food or is this still happening?

 

I would love to see a taplist, amongst other things for this party. If anyone has anymore bottles of dfpf, hit me up, I need another one!

 

I'd love to see any details, beer list and or food options, but I don't think we'll see any. I'm just going to have a hearty breakfast before hand and bring some snacks just in case there aren't any food options.

Greetings!

If you are receiving this e-mail, you have RSVPd for yourself or for someone to take your place at the donor party this Saturday. You are ONLY bringing a plus one if you previously purchased the extra ticket during the crowd funding campaign.

We are extremely excited to host you. Here are the details:

• Party begins promptly at noon
• Two stations: inside the tap room and outside
• DJ will be outside
• Babe Froman will be on site selling food
• 4 vouchers will be given to you upon check-in, which will allot four (4) ounce pours of your choice. Once you have used your vouchers, you can purchase any beer on tap for $5
• Wristbands will also be given to you to retrieve your one (1) bottle, unless you purchased extra during the crowd funding campaign
• You will be able to purchase extra bottles of the donor bottle, should you like. There will be a few hundred bottles available
• The party ends at 4 pm, but you are more than welcome to stay and enjoy Wynwood’s Art Walk and the UM vs FSU game, at 8:00 pm
• There will be 13 different treatments and 8 of our core beers will be on, including the donor party beer

Really?

 

He sent a follow up email stating there was a typo in the original email. It is (4) 8oz pours not (4) 4oz pours. That being said, with 13 different treatments and 8 core beers on, I plan on bringing an extra glass and splitting pours so I can sample more of what is on without spending more.

 

A whole 32 oz for free. Golly gee, that's awesome now.

I'll be down there for the party. Coming down on friday night if anyone wants to meet up and open some bottles.

 

How was the party OGs? (I really wanted to go but we having a celebration for my parents 50th anniversary.)

 

Very well run. Had a great time! Wakefield went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time, weather was beautiful, and the beers were great. Tapped the last keg of DFPF for 2015, mixed that with Miami Madness and it was delicious.

 

The party went over very well. He put the beers on that everyone wanted, snacks were provided as well. Bottle sales went quick and easy too.

 

I probably missed it somewhere, but what was the bottle for the OGs?
