There was a ton of amazing stuff in that box plus I didn't think VSB was all that great and enjoyed those other beers way more.

Just received an unsolicited box from @AJDePaul that happened to contain one of my long time wants, Kate the Great!

 

Wow! I hope you set up a second trade with him so you could crush his porch/trunk of his car....

 

I haven't traded any walez bro and certainly haven't gotten any as extras, but I've gotten a Wicked Weed sour as an extra on two different occasions; in another trade got a 2011 Outer Banks Barrelage Run, an Oerbeer and a BCBS, most recently I got an Older Viscosity as an extra in a #pickitupformebro, that bottle was worth more than the item he bought on my behalf!

I've dealt with some pretty awesome traders in my short time in the game!

Edit: almost forgot one of my best ones, I sent an unsolicited Tired Hands growler and got back an unsolicited New Glarus gift set (2 fruit beers, 2 flutes) and a Psuedo Sue

I got a bottle of Remy's Pappy unsolicited from the great @jimmieall . It was a "hope your foot feels better" gift. Jimmie is the man.

 

In that same box on top of The K13, he extra'd me '13 Darkness, Birth of Tragedy, Twilight of the Idols, '09 BCBS bomber and '13 BCBCS. I'm forever in his debt. If he texts me asking for my firstborn, I'll have to give it to him.

I'm new to the trading scene and most of my trades have been done locally. I did participate in a Mystery Shelf Beer Exchange that was lead by an individual on the ISO/FT group on FB. Trading partners were paired up outside of their respective distro areas and the idea was to ship 144-156 oz of locally procured "shelf beer" to your chosen recipient. My shipper was an individual from the Boston Mass area and I was pleasantly surprised to find a BA Framinghammer in my box. Not real sure if this is considered a "whale" but I have heard great things about it and cant wait to open it up. I have also been trading with an individual from Chicago and recently sent him an unannounced SP SdF B2 with our agreed upon trade. I think it went over well. Do unto others...

 

CRon_T hooked me up with a Cigar City sour as one of roughly 6 or 7 extras. Awesome stuff!

 

@zookerman182 Has send me boxes just to surprise me, with snifters, witch he knows i love, crazy monkeynaught posters, and mexi cake. Dude is a stand up guy. And the best thing is i have a friend for life even tho i have never met him face to face. Matt i got something in the works for you when you come home for work one day i hope your porch can support it.

 

Well my friend, you started it all by sending me heady topper for absolutely nothing. As well as standing in line forever at dark lord day just to send them to me. Oh yeah, how could I forget all of 2013 bourbon county variants and countless not your father's root beers just because. I learned how to be a stand up guy from you. Can't wait to share the beers of the future with you and anyone else who wants a solid trade partner. Beer was meant to be shared, and drank.
