I was sitting by the campfire last night going through some old beer reviews..yeah I am weird, when I got to thinking about Walking Man.
Back in the day they were rocking it and destined for greatness. Then they sort of disappeared .
What happened? Are they even brewing?

Not only are they brewing, but I think they're making a bit of a come back. I'm starting to see things like homo erectus, my old Kentucky homo and my big phat homo at various tap houses again. Also, unless I'm mistaken, I think the horse brass has always continued to carry their cherry stout.

Weren't they sold a while back? They were really good until Jacob Leonard left, then the quality of the beer took a huge nosedive. Can't say I've enjoyed what I've tried from them recently either.

Interesting that John_M mentioned the Horse Brass as I hung out with those guys and Don Younger after/before (?) the Oregon brewers festival one year and we had a blast. They seemed like good friends. I made the trek out there the next day and had a great time even though it was surprisingly busy during the afternoon. Very nice beers, but I unfortunately missed the Big Black Homo that I was hoping to get to try. I haven't been back since but I'm disappointed to hear that they haven't done so well. Nice place with no real competition in sight at the time.
