It's been far to long since I've been there, but if memory serves Salty Pig priced the Trillium IPAs really well, ~$8 for a pint.

I've always meant to swing by Worden Hall just to check it out. I checked out Five Horse's Boston location (just because a previous year's Bourbon County Coffee was on tap), and didn't like it as much as the Davis location.

How much does Trill Bomb go for at the brewery? I recall buying a barrel-aged imperial stout from them a few months ago, I remember it being quite pricey...maybe $24 for a 750 mL? That makes $14/10 oz. seem like a steal.

I believe the imperial stouts from Trillium cost about the same at the Davis Five Horse, so Worden Hall's prices appear to be about the same.

I would never call these prices cheap, but they're not that brutal in my opinion. Trillium is just about the most expensive beer out there, what is Pot and Kettle cost at the brewery?

For example, I think Fort Point Pale Ale costs ~$18 per four pack at the brewery. At Five Horse it might run ~$8/9 for 12 oz. Roughly 2.5X the cost at retail (of course that 12 oz. might be more like 11 oz. in that glass, but they're served in small glasses so you don't lose as much as you do in your standard shaker pint).

That's a very good price for Trillium if that's true. I would say $8 is about the average price for a pint in Davis Square. If you're lucky you'll see something like Notch Pils for $6. And actually, considering a six pack of Notch Pils goes for ~$10, the Trillium might even be a better deal (if my math is right...probably not at this point, I started getting confused about two minutes into writing this post).

TrillBOMB! bottles were $16 for 750ml at the brewery. Also, Fort Point Pale Ale 4-packs are $15.

This is right plus it was on for growlers @ $18/32oz. I wonder what it was priced as for pours at the Canton taproom

Well, I was way off. Looking back at my receipts I paid $17.20 for a 4 pack of Congress Street, $5.05 per can (I bought singles) of their DDH Sleep Street and Dialed In was $5.55 per can for reference.

Even at $16 per 750 though, Trill Bomb is a mark-up of ~2.25X retail. That's still not bad at all compared to most beers. Again, not cheap, not defending pricing anywhere (mostly because I don't know how it works), but the sticker shock isn't as bad when consider how much some of this beer goes for at retail.
