Driving from Plymouth, MA to Warren, VT this morning. Staying in Warren until Wednesday. Looking for recommendations for: beer stores on the way in/in/near Warren; bars/restaurants in/near Warren with good beer selection. I am going to Stowe Monday, but I am familiar with it. Cheers.
Beer store/restaurants on the way: Big Fatty’s and Big Fatty’s Crowler Pit and River Roost in WRJ. Worthy Burger and Upper Pass Brewing in South Royalton. In and around Warren: Paradise Provisions has a really good selection on the access road (also good bfast/lunch selections). Can’t recommend Mad Taco enough. Then there’s Lawson’s, Worthy Burger Too, American Flatbread, and Blue Stone. To/From Stowe: You may already know but CBC Waterbury is great. Last time I was up there though it seemed Paradise Provisions had a similar VT selection minus stuff like Freak Folk and Wunderkammer.
Capt Quint nailed it. But while in Warren, stop off at the Warren store for good food and a small but good selection of beer. Lawson's is 10 mins away. Mehuron's (next to mad taco) has a good beer selection too.
In Stowe you have the alchemist, von trap beer hall, Stowe beverage, the bench, doc ponds, just to name a few Also pro pig, the res, and blackback in Waterbury
Last week they had George, Everett, Twilight of the Idols, Alexandr, Lunch, a 4 Quarters IPA and Queen City’s Hefe.
