Water Report or lack thereof

    The best I can come up with using local averages of Great Lakes water is as follows:
    CA:34
    MG: 7.3
    CL:19
    SO4:17
    HC03: 109
    PH: 8.0

    Not too bad. Add some Ca with gypsum or CaCl2 depending on the beer. Measure the mash pH. HCO3 is a little high for some styles but acid can fix it, or dilution with RO.
