    hello all

    I will be driving up and going to Waterbury today. Staying in the best western

    I was wondering if you can direct in the directions of where I could find a good meal late tonight around 10. Some good breakfast tomorrow morning.

    Also some great local cheese spots that I can buy cheese to go.

    Also does any one know what time the prohibition pig is open until

    And lastly if there might be any heady topper left tonight or tomorrow morning. And where one might go to acquire some.

    Go to the Cabot Annex outlet store on Rte 100 just north of Waterbury for an excellent assortment of both Cabot cheddars and other VT artisanal cheeses. Lake Champlain Chocolates is right across the parking lot.

    You could check out the Craft Beer Cellar and Cork in Waterbury for Heady. They get deliveries earlier in the week but they still had a decent amount left as late as Wednesday evening last week so there's a chance some could still be around on a Friday.

    Last Wednesday, Pro Pig stopped serving food somewhere around 9:30. They said the time the kitchen closes depends on how busy it is.

    Go to The Blue Stone pizza joint for dinner. They have amazing pizza and still keep a great beer selection.

    And if you want some great bread to go with that cheese, drive one exit south to Middlesex and hit Red Hen Bread Co.

    craft beer in Waterbury is open until 9. a great store.

    as for later than that, many VT gas stations offer surprisingly decent beer.

    actually pro pig had ZD on Sat and Sun. don't know if they still have it. pro pig had such great stuff I actually had to pass on the ZD

    I got some ZDat Blackback a couple of years ago
    as a left over from an HF festival.

    Was not that impressed with zombie dust.

    sip of sunshine blew me away
    wish there was some to take home. but I'm happy with my 8 cans of heady topper I had to scour for.

    any idea why hf ran out of Anna before Saturday I was pretty bummed about that

    I flew to NYC and Drove up with some buddies on Friday, got there around 2:15 had my order in by 2:25, they were keeping a countdown of Anna bottles I think they crossed off like number 15 or 14 when I ordered mine. My buddies were still filling their order form out and a couple people went before them. I got like the 2nd or 3rd to last bottle. They miscounted by one case it seems. My friends both got skunked.

    There were people carting out 4+ cases of bottles at a time. You could see the pallet with the Anna bottles on it going quick through the last couple of hours of the day.

    I mean I brought home 20 bottles. But I thought they have truck loads of Anna to survive for the weekend. Guess it was flying faster than anticipated. I'll have to go back
