Watermelon Dorado

It wasn't terrible but wasn't that good. Does taste artificial. I don't think watermelon works in an IPA.

 

1000 times this. "Bitter Bitter Rind Dorado" would have been an apt name for this abomination.

 

Regular dorado stirred with a watermelon jolly rancher... but I like it

Tastes like a four Loko...

 

I opened one from a mixed six-pk to share with my girlfriend. First sip, watermelon. Second sip was sweet, syrupy and medicinal repulse. I poured the last 5oz into her glass. She loved it.

 

I gave it a 3.58. I won't buy it again and I'm glad I only bought a single.

 

I bought a single, then ended up trying it at a friend's a day later. I now have the single sitting in my fridge, possibly for a very long time. Maybe I'll get around to it after I've had a few too many and can't taste as well?

 

Never tried a watermelon other than my own homebrew watermelon blonde. A buddy talked me into it after tasting a watermelon wit on the west coast somewhere. I knew it was really gonna suck when my wife liked it. ;-) And I was right.

 

Would have enjoyed trying a bottle but never saw it around. I did just find a Pineapple Sculpin though.

 

Only Ballast Point beer I definitely didn't like.

 

Wasn't a fan personally either.

 

Turrible.

And not in a good way.

 

Absolutely horrid. Not the worst I have ever had, but the bitterness did not mesh at all with the melon flavor. Absolutely out of balance. Of course I drank it since I wanted a quick buzz, but I had to chug it. Will not buy again.

 

Wish I could like more than once.

 

Mango Even Keel was not that good either. The mango smell was great but it's another fruit flavor that clashed with the bitterness. Glad I was able to chug the remainder so I only had to taste it twice.

 

Three of us tried this together and we came up with a unanimous decision, "This is okay." Shoulder's shrugged.

 

Watermelon Dorado was one of the worst beers I've have in a while. Mango even keel is good.

 

I love mango, mango even keel was horrid. smelled and tasted nothing like mango, instead like an awful creamsicle perfume

 

I hate it. It's terrible
