I had the Whiskey Rodeo at Petrol in June. It was good. A little too hot, but should mellow in time. It was a big thick beer, probably too much for summer in Houston outdoors.

Beer isn't for sipping. It's for hoarding and dickswinging.

I'll do weasel, bonnie, and then whiskey probably friday... in that order to break up the two and see the differences. dont think they would work too well back to back.

It'd be easier to tell the difference I'd think. I'd start with Weasel (base beer), then try Whiskey. Save some weasel in your glass to revisit.

I had Bonnie and it was about what I had anticipated: a tart wheat based beer.

More or less than DFH Festina?

The Peche? If you notice, that was a peach Berlinerweisse, while Bonnie is just a Berlinerweisse. I would prefer the Peche, but can appreciate the Bonnie for what it is.

Yeah, the peach accents the wheat well.

The Weasel was pretty good. It was my first chile beer so, I really didn't know what to expect. I provided a nice spice kick in the end. The roasted malt and coffee flavors where delicious. Over all a well put together brew.

You will get less of the Chile in the Whiskey.

Im sittin here drinkin a Weasel Rodeo, and its pretty tasty. Lots of roasted malts, and coffee, but seems a lil under carbonated. Hopin to eventually get my hands on a Whiskey Rodeo...

Still driving my 2002 WRX, 156,000 miles and going strong! I need new seats though, and unwilling to pay new prices.

Bah. I'm driving a 1995 mercury mistake, err, mystique. odometer broke 7 years ago at 149,443 miles, lol. I have since driven to florida and back about 4 times, among many other trips. though the lack of A/C makes it a bit difficult. :)

Ha, I can see that. When I got out of school (and the WRX ended up incorrectly-oriented with respect to a fixed object) I went for a 370. Which is a phenomenal car, but I still miss the WRX.
