Getting married this upcoming summer, and of course I would like to crack a nice beer with the new wife. I have been aging some Dogfish Head Barley wine for the occasion, but I have also just got a bottle of Rouge, one of our favorite breweries, bottle of 15,000. What should crack open on the special day?

Better not let these guys hear Rogue is your favorite brewery : ) But I would go with the DFH just because barleywines are killer aged.

I just got married in June and I thought I would do the same thing. I thought this would be the perfect day to open my King Henry. I can tell you, there was not even a chance to enjoy that beer. It's still sitting there... waiting for our anniversary. Just enjoy your time with your guests and drink whatever is cold. Cheers!

I voted for Rogue only because you said it was a favorite brewery for both of you and even better on that special day. Save the DFH for the Honeymoon! (Really big beer and at that point, no guests and obligations to answer to! Take 'em all on the honeymoon!)
