Wedding Day Beer

Hommage.

 

Getting married in our generation? Its doomed for failure. That's just being honest. Don't drink beer you are going to want hard liquor. It will be the worst decision of your life.

 

I stored away in my Dad's cellar an 09 LP Gueuze last December for when I eventually get married. Figure another 5-10 years of age on that one will do nicely.

 

I had a beer with my brother (best man) at a bar close to the wedding venue during our few moments of down time. He had a Long Trail Double Bag. I don't remember what I had. To be honest, there will be lots of memorable things that happen on your wedding day and if I had to do everything again I don't think I would bother to try to set aside time and energy for a special beer.

But if you do, go with what Providence said.

 

I'm getting married September 5th and there's an open bar but I don't know what kind of beer will be there. Never considered it but now I will have to check with the place to see my options. Hopefully they have real beer, not bud lite or some other similar garbage.

 

Good luck first 5 years are the best. Sculpin or Under cover investigation shut down ale get it under the covers.

 

I was able to acquire a bottle of Bell's Wedding Ale. It was an ok beer, but will always be the most memorable.
