    hey everyone.

figured i would turn to the experts here on the forums. My wedding is next sat (i know i should have posted sooner, just thought of it today haha)

I have a keg for my wedding next weekend in new haven, worst case i will just get a bucket and ice and drop it in there. i would prefer a kegerator tho, i really dont want the bartender to have to tap the keg and keep pumping and pouring. I had to do it for a large party once while catering. it sucked.

Does anyone have or know anyone who would be willing to rent out the kegerator for the wedding ? i would of course leave a cash deposit as i think that would be fair. Or does anyone know of a distributor or party rental place i can get one from ?

i have a log of a local brew from their brewery for the wedding , so dont worry - i wouldnt put any swill through your kegerator.

any other thoughts / suggestions are def. welcomed.

    thanks

Check with the liquor store where you are getting the keg, they can get you a jockey box.

Just an FYI, many times the caterer will insist on providing alcohol under their license. If its BYOB, then a jockey box is what you want.

Just saw this now. I work for a CT distributor and we as well as others rent out cold plates, which are temporary draft systems made from coolers. We rent out kegerators too, but a cold plate would be ideal for a one day event. Usually we only need a few days notice, so get on that! The coldplate would have to be rented through the place you are having the reception and it would probably come from the distributor who sells the beer you have if they have cold plates.

You would need gas too. My company doesn't provide gas. Talk to someone at the place where the reception is. If it's NEB and in New Haven the distributor is G and G.

I am getting married in June and would like to rent a Kegarator or two. Which distributors in CT rent them?
