I'm going to Denver this weekend and need some help with bars and places to get bottles. I've got the family with me so a Rockies game will happen, but long weekend trips to breweries outside of town might not. I'm staying near the ballpark (I think). Thanks in advance for your advice!
You're in luck. All of the following are within walking distance from the ballpark: - Great Divide - River North - Wynkoop (like right across the street practically) - Jagged Mountain - Freshcraft (get the pork schnitzel) Epic and Black Shirt are pretty close. Crooked Stave at The Source too. There's a small bottle shop called Mr. B's or something like that close by too.
The downtown and River North (RiNo) areas are packed with beer things. Coors Field has the Sandlot Brewery (Blue Moon).
