Whew. I didn't want to say anything but I've noticed a down grade in Landloard as well. Certainly seemed to be much more bitter about 25 years ago. Glad its not just me.

I've had some cracking Landlord lately. But it's one of those beers, like Pedigree and Abbot, which require high cellaring skills to serve it at its best.

The Euston Tap has it on with reasonable regularity so thank Christ for that.

It's a good thing I can't miss what i've never had, me being unable to drink at -21 years of age, before I was even a twinkle in my father's eye.

My Tesco has started doing Sierra Nevada Torpedo, so that's my Sunday night sorted out. Praise the lord for Bank Holidays.

My local Tesco think's its doing me a favour by still carrying SNPA in light of it being dropped by Asda which is probably why I haven't noticed Torpedo there yet. But I have noticed the sky high pricing. Sheesh.

Say the Torpedo at Tesco, no price label and no money left in my wallet, shame it would have rounded this evenings drinking off nicely.

Hopefully it'll still be there for next time. Wonder if my local might follow. Guess I could have asked but there was about as much chance of that happening as me actively watching Briain's Got Talent or The Voice. I'm a bloody bloke.

I would just assume that as you share your name with an echo & the Bunnymen track that when given the choice of BGT and or The Voice simply having good taste would lead you to neither

Neither BGT of The Voice are my ideas of Heaven Up Here. More like a Higher Hell.
